Get Paid to Go to the Movies this Summer

Summer’s here, so why not get paid to go to the movies? Movie theater’s have long been a place where companies need certain information verified. They especially want to know whether the right trailers are played before a movie starts. These are called “trailer checks.”

According to our research, the following companies will pay you to go to the movies as a mystery shopper, or an auditor.

Keep in mind that it is possible that none of these companies will have any assignments available to you. If that’s the case, keep an eye out for future assignments from them. They may have more available during their next round, or they may take on a new client in the future.

If you want to get paid to go to the movies, I recommend signing up for all of these companies, to give you access to the most opportunities.

Certified Field Associates – This is one of the biggest such companies. They are very established, and owned by Market Force, one of the major players in the mystery shopping industry.

Verites is a company that specifically offers services to the movie industry, including trailer checks. Their website is rather outdated, but they are still active. You can contact them here. Note the email address where they say you can register. They have been known to have their assigments scheduled by GFK, so it is worth signing up for GFK too. (Now known as Ipsos).

Amusement Advantage is great because they focus on mystery shopping fun and interesting locations, such as amusement parks. They also have been known to offer movie theater assignments. You can sign up for them here.

Service Check offers a variety of assignments. They’ve been known to also offer movie theater assignments.

Customer Impact was recently recruiting shoppers to mystery shop a local theater chain. Though they might now have assignments in your area, it may be worth signing up for them anyways, when they have more shops available. See the forum post here. And you can sign up for them here.
