The company that I am showcasing today is called, “Observa,” and it is a mystery shopping app that can be downloaded from both the Apple Store and Google Play. In a nutshell, this is how it works:
- Download the app and create an account and make sure that you use the same email address that belongs to your PayPal account (you will be paid via PayPal).
- Observa recognizes your geographical location and you’ll check the opportunities available near you section. If you see a job that interests you simply click “Accept” underneath the description.
- Upon selecting the assignment, shoppers will have two hours to complete it. Once it is finished and validated, you will be paid within that same hour.
Currently, there are tons of these Walmart mystery shopping opportunities all over the country. This seems like an unusually high fee for a Walmart shop. Does anyone have any experience with this one or know how difficult the shop and report are? I’ve been burned on some seemingly “easy” shops that had horrible reports, so now I’m wary of new companies.

Field Agent is an app that has lots of Walmart jobs. Pay is by PayPal usually same day.
Which app are you speaking of? Field Agent starts the jobs at $4-$6 and the longer they sit, the fee goes up but never to $400. I’ve been paid $30 before but shoppers in my area are scarce. I’ve done jobs for FA for 3 years now and never have had a problem. I love these quick paying jobs. So easy and they really come in handy.
I saw an add from that company advertising the Walmart shops at $400.00 just to make some observations and to interact with two employees. As far as I am concerned, any company willing to pay $400.00 for a minor shop can not be true. I sure wish that kind of pay was true!!
