Welcome to the fifth issue of Mystery Shopper Magazine. Our mission is to  support mystery shoppers. That’s why we publish reviews of companies, and show you how to get started with specific assignments.

That’s also why we publish the Adventures of a Mystery Shopper, by Cettie. She might possibly have the most ‘writing personality’ of any mystery shopper I know. And she’s had quite a lot of harrowing adventures as a mystery shopper. This week she tells the tale of a narrow escape from a Zoo assignment.

Next week, we are publishing our first profile of a mystery shopper. We plan on publishing profiles of shoppers bi-weekly. If you’d like to be profiled, let us know.

This week we feature nursing home assignments, which can be lucrative, but do have their downsides. We also feature apartment assignments, which can be very difficult. They also tend to pay more than the average assignment. Be sure to read our review if you’re new to apartment shops.

We also feature reviews of two mystery shopping companies. Be sure to read them to know what to expect from each company, including the assignments they typically have, and feedback about them from the mystery shopping community.

Our lead writer, Ceridwyn, has the week off. Paul Lamb has filled in for her, and he has done a fantastic job.

At Mystery Shopper Magazine, we plan to be around a long time. We’re still new, and we’re continuing to grow. Your readership and support makes a big difference. If you have any questions or comments, please send them our way.

Sincerely,

Jacob Jans
