Company Overview: Faith Perceptions, based in Cape Girardeau, MO, actually does mystery shop churches. Actually, I prefer what they call the program on their website—Mystery Guest. While the company offers several programs for churches, the one of interest to shoppers is the Mystery Guest program where you evaluate the friendliness of a congregation towards visitors. I would consider this to be a niche MSC rather than a boutique MSC simply because of the very narrow range of its market.
Registration is on the company’s website, http://www.faithperceptions.com and shouldn’t take the average shopper more than 2-3 minutes to complete.

Overall: First the disclaimer. As there have been no discussions about this company on the forum, and since I have no firsthand experience, all my data for this company is from the company’s own website.
First of all, although I have not done any reports for this company, I do see their fee is $45 per church. Objectively, I think this is a reasonable fee for a report about a church service. As I previously mentioned, given that the purpose is to judge the friendliness of the congregation, it is important for the evaluator to be both objective and outgoing.
Secondly, this is an MSC that I would recommend to the “Road Warriors” out there. Most MSC’s that require video shops generally won’t allow shops to be done on weekends. Here’s a potential $45 shop for a couple of hours of your time on an otherwise off day.
As I have not shopped this company, and as there are no discussions regarding the company, I’m going to refrain from grading Faith Perceptions.
